General Discussion

Good Morning!

I was approached by an advisor who has a disabled students (vision, hearing, speech, etc) In one of his integrated classes he has learned that he loves building things specifically woodworking. Along with a supportive teacher and of course additional assistance, he is currently working on a simple table. The advisor talked to him about SkillsUSA and he was excited. She wondered if there is a different competition that is available for students with multiple disabilities other that Action Skills. I told her I didn't think so, but I would look into it.

Is there anyone out there that has a similar situation? Or has considered trying to create a different competition for students with more serious disabilities.
